A family can use this as a two-bedroom unit or alternatively each room can be rented separately. All units will be equipped with solar power and solar hot water although at the present time our resort is running off a generator, and our hot water system is under construction. All units are raised above the surrounding landscape, on a single level with stunning views of Nono lagoon.

On the privately owned Nggatirana Island, a 15 ha dream getaway located in the Nono Lagoon, Western province Solomon Islands. Nggatirana is naturally forested, with a round the island trail. The lagoon side has sandy beaches with a superb coral farm and the weather side is protected by a coral reef.

We are located close to Vangunu Island, with easy access to premium scuba dive locations Penguin Reef, Rapichana Point, Hele Bar plus a host of other exciting dive and snorkel sites. On Vangunu is Gerbera's village Zaira, one of the most remote places on earth. It's a beautiful area, home to an extinct volcano within a designated conservation zone. The village offers great food and friendly smiles for all those that visit. Evis will be offering day trips there from the resort for all those who wish to see the beautiful nature of Vangunu and possibly turtle hatchlings.

Here at Evis Resort we offer our guests a range of activities. We are lucky in our area to be surrounded with beautiful coral reefs; we offer all guests free access to snorkeling gear to be able to experience all its beauty. For more serious diver, we will be offering diving excursions from $70 per dive. Guests will also able to hire kayaks from our resort to explore the further edges of our island home.

If water is not your thing at an extra cost, we have many small treks on the nearby Island of Vangunu that will give you both a cultural and historical experience. One of the walks that we do shows guests the amazing Tapu site; the volcanic origins of the island. This mound is massive and has special cultural significance in the area. On top of the Tapu site is this offerings temple in which traditional shell money and whales' teeth were offered to the fertility god. Local legend says it was built in 1909.
