Just three hours flying time from Brisbane are the Solomon Islands – an unspoiled, undiscovered paradise with over 990 islands, all relatively untouched by the influences of the modern world. This pristine paradise boasts breathtaking beaches lapped by the crystal-clear waters of the Coral Sea, renowned for their abundant marine life. With its rich culture, WWII history, ancient rainforests and laid back lifestyles these islands are widely considered the South Pacific’s best-kept secret.

The population of 560,000 is mainly Melanesian – while some of the outer islands are home to Polynesians and Micronesians. The local people can appear shy, but are very friendly and always hapi to share a kustom stori or have a laugh with their new friends.

Off the beaten track, village life in the Solomon Islands remains much as it has for centuries - “lost in time”

Through our work in the area, we’ve built strong relationships with many of the village elders, and are welcome to bring our guests for a visit and hopefully hear some of the beautiful harmonies from the locals villagers.

Along the way, there’s also the opportunity to take part in everything from a game of football with the local kids to a village welcome ceremony, hand-line fishing or shopping for local handicrafts.

Your typical itinerary includes a combination of village visits, WWII tours, diving, snorkelling, beach BBQs, watersports and relaxation…. Ohhh and then there’s the food. Delicious meals and snacks served up by the comedic on-board chefs.

These special itinerary trips are all about adventure. Each day, we have activities planned so that you can enjoy the amazing Solomon Islands.  Whether you are learning to dive with one of our qualified instructors, paddle boarding along the coastline where the mangroves meet the sea, or joining in a sing-sing at one of the local villages and trying your hand at playing a homemade panpipe, you are sure to enjoy.

Each trip is 7 nights with adventures planned every day.  Perfect for you and your family to explore and cruise the Solomon Islands.

Along the way, we stop at some of the smaller islands and visit remote local villages. Come shop for produce for our meals or check out the local carvings. You might even be able to catch a game of football with the local village children! Weather depending, this itinerary may also be offered in reverse.

This amazing journey gives you the very best of the Solomon Islands diving. You may experience the Florida Islands, Russell Islands, Mary Island and the incredible Vona Vona or Marovo Lagoon.

Our diving facilities are second to none. We have a large dive deck with individual storage for gear, racks and hangers for suits, warm freshwater showers, separate rinse tanks for photo gear.  As the bulk of our diving is done directly of the boat - we offer an open dive deck at each site.  Tanks are filled at the end of each dive then rigged for the next one. Our crew are trained to expertly handle your tanks and other gear. The only time you have to touch your tank is when you’re diving and it’s on your back!

A briefing will precede each dive, and our Trip Director will outline the type of dive, what you can expect to see and recommendations regarding current, depth, and activities. Divers set their own profile in conjunction with their buddy, their computer and their previous diving activities, and are welcome to discuss their plans with the crew for assistance and advice.  The first dive of every trip is always guided and we offer at least three guided dives each day
