Fancy dipping your feet in the pure white sand of your own desert island? A picnic maybe?
Well we can drop you there by motor boat or you could chose to take a kayak trip if you are feeling adventurous. Marau sound has got a myriad of destinations as close as 100 meters away to full day kayaking trips, catering for all levels of experience.
Soon, the resort will be expand the fleet with very stable plastic kayaks from Australis Canoes
Sunset drink on a sightseeing tour of the sound on our local motor boat is one of many other options!
The closest village is only on the island across, and you'd be welcome for a visit. Ask for a guide and meet the children, they are much more well behaved than our little white devils!
And why not take a look in your own island backyard? A network of tracks zig zag through Tavanipupu island's diverse natural habitats. Take the time to sit and watch the many resident birds and insects that make the island so special: early morning kingfishers, doves and loreekeets only to name a few!

That is the question! With us you get to do both!
Jump in the water to start your day! Take a snorkel dive in the deep blue waters of the lagoon (equipment available).
All reefs surrounding Tavanipupu Island are protected, making it a full marine reserve for more than 20 years. Take a snorkel on the shallow reefs in front of the resort: corals mixed with seagrass create a unique habitat full of special creatures.
There is no need to Scuba dive!

We are an eco-friendly resort but do not exclude sustainable harvesting. If you're a keen recreational fisherman, we'll take you out to some great spots and you'll get to eat your catch prepared in the finest fashion!
