Gizo is the tourism hub of Western Province; the Solomon Islands most popular holiday destination. Gizo is sprawled along the waterfront with steep hills behind from which there are spectacular views over the coral reefs, Kolobungara and many other islands in the area.
The bustling market on the waterfront is always busy with vendors selling fish, fruit and veggies and local produce. Gizo is an ideal base for divers and snorkelers with many WW2 wrecks and pristine reef systems nearby. If diving isn’t your thing there are also some great surf breaks and amazing game and reef fishing available.
On land, we can offer cultural and educational tours to sacred sites. You will have the opportunity to see stone and wood carving, traditional villages, schools and pristine beaches.
