The Fish
The fish you can catch are:
Spot Tail Bass, Mangrove Jack, Giant Trevally, Dog Tooth Tuna, Black & Blue Marlin, Coral Trout, Mackerel, Wahoo, Sailfish, jobfish, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi-Mahi, Rainbow Runner, Grouper & Sweetlip to name a few. |

Solomon Sea Divers offers some of the finest diving in the South Pacific, specialising in majestic wall dives and big fish action, plus a spectacular cave dive, unlike any other in the Solomon Islands.
For those interested in WW2 wrecks, we have the Kasi Maru, the US dump, and various aircraft.

The Surf
There are three surf breaks 5 to 20 minutes from the resort - the famous Skull Island is the closest. When the surf's up, you have it all to yourself.

Skull Island Visit
For those interested in local history take a trip to nearby Skull Island to visit the shrine of the local warrior chiefs and get a taste of the unique past of the area.
Rendova Island has a further 3 to 4 breaks and is a comfortable 45 minute boat ride away. Joe has boards you can hire also.
Bushwalk
Enjoy an easy walk through secondary rainforest with an experienced local guide who is able to unlock the secrets of the bush.
See how Solomon Islanders use their environment to provide most of their needs and learn what plants and trees can be used for medicine, those that can be eaten, what is used in the construction of housing and many other fascinating facts.

WWII Tours
The Solomon Islands played host to some of the fiercest battles of WW11 and many remnants of that era still exist today.
Close by you can see, amongst other things, a fully intact US Tank, Japanese bunker systems, an underground clinic, 140mm shore battery guns and a sunken Japanese freighter.

Rainforest River Trip
Take a boat ride to one of the nearby tidal rivers that run through lowland rainforest and experience, firsthand, this unique environment - home to rare freshwater fish, exotic tropical birds and saltwater crocodiles.

Bikiki Island
Spend the day snorkelling and have a picnic lunch on your own deserted island.

Basket weavers
Take a beautiful boat ride through the lagoon to visit the nearby village of Iriri Pas Pasa who's inhabitants are renowned as some of the best basket weavers in the South Pacific.

Vona Vona excursion
A 3 hour boat ride through the stunning Vona Vona Lagoon - includes stops at Skull Island and the village of the basket weavers.
Traditional Cooking Demonstration
An opportunity to visit a local village and see how food is grown, prepared and cooked in the traditional way in an earth oven. Then you can taste it for yourself.

Kolombangara Mountain Hike
Spend a day hiking through virgin primary rainforest, then overnight at the campsite. Early next morning a climb through the montane moss forest brings you to the crater rim at 1,760 metres, that allows you to enjoy views across the lagoon and island systems of this incredible area. Spend the rest of the day walking back to sea level where the boat will whisk you back to Lola for a well earned cold drink and a chance to put your feet up. For those who don't feel up to a 2 day hike easier walks can easily be arranged to nearby lower peaks.
