The best time is during our winter season from April - Oct. The summer season is Nov - Mar. It is only a 10 minutes walk from our resort to the best surfing spot in Tonga.   Surf break names like;   Surf Razors, ET's and Looney's - all the offshore reefs can hold large swells and can get heavy. We are exploring other divesites, especially in an area 30NM north west of Atata’ Island where there are 2 volcanoes, Hunga, we are thinking to setup a camp with tent and sleeping bags, cooking catched fish on the beach fire and some other openair activities; this will keep the cost of the 2 days excursion down, especially for large number of divers.

We can use the 40’ catamaran to reach the place towing a fiberglass longboat to reach the shallow waters once there. We don’t have a portable compressor so we need to bring an adequate number of tanks already filled.
