Heaven' isn't the only 6
letter word starting with H … There's Hotham, a
mountain synonymous with terrain diversity,
mountain-top living and snow reliability. And, it's
the only snow resort in Australia with its own
airport for ease of access.
Hotham is gearing up for another
exciting season – but it's a ‘new look' Hotham that
will greet you this winter with a change of logo,
overall ‘look' and fabulous on-snow beginner
programs.
Of course, the legendary Hotham
terrain hasn't changed - 85 runs of some of the best
natural snow coverage in the Australian snowfields,
with a vertical drop of almost 400 metres.
Hotham's perfect balance of
tree-lined runs, chutes and bowls are just
heaven-sent for boarders and skiers alike. Long
regarded as “the skier's mountain” and truly “sick”
for snowboarders, Hotham can be dynamic and
challenging for the more accomplished rider, whilst
maintaining an easy charm for the
not-so-experienced.
Advanced skiers will love the
Free Kat skiing which accesses 75 ha of wild tree
lined glades; whilst all standards can revel in the
fun of night skiing at the Big D on Wednesdays and
Saturdays, 6.30-9.30pm.
And getting there is so easy. In
travelling time, Hotham is the closest snow resort
to every Australian capital city. In 2005
QantasLink will service up to 9 flights per week
from Sydney and 3 from Melbourne with one-way
airfares starting from just $69* ex-Melbourne or
$119* ex-Sydney, plus taxes and booking fees.
Hotham's variety of true ski-in/ski-out
accommodation ranges from budget to boutique. And,
unlike most resorts, there are no oversnow
requirements at Hotham .
