3 day 2 night Special.
Day 1
Enjoy the morning paddling, crossing King Reef and out to the Southern Barnard Islands.
The afternoon is yours to swim, snorkel, relax or explore the island.
Overnight camp on the beach.

Day 3

Paddle for two hours to the Northern Barnard group of islands. Spend the afternoon bushwalking, snorkelling or relaxing.
Overnight on one of the Barnard Islands.

Enjoy a three hour paddle to the mainland, passing nearby islands and mysterious caves.
Arrive at Cowley Beach where the coach will be waiting to return you to Cairns.

The
Katherine Region: Northen Terriotory
The Katherine region is ideally situated between 3 areas of
outstanding beauty and environmental significance, it offers the
perfect base for exploring the Gulf region Kakadu and the Kimberley.
Well serviced by bus, plane, hire car and 4 wd operators it is an
easy place to get to being only 319 km from Darwin. Access via Alice
Springs is also easy with daily flights with local carrier Air
north.
As part of your gecko canoeing experience you will see some of the
best that the region has to offer, diverse riverine habitats,
prolific flora and fauna, amazing wildlife and sounds all shown and
interpreted to you personally by our experienced guides. Gecko
Canoeing can arrange all of your itinerary or advise you on the best
operators to assist in making your territory experience unique and
memorable.

Weather
Tours
are run only in the 'Dry season' daytime temperatures range
from 25oC - 32oC, whilst the nights are cool and calm. with
rain being rare, nights are slept peacfully under the stars,
During the cooler months of June and July.
Wildlife
Flora & Fuana are in abundance in all regions. Keep
you're eyes peeled as you're likely to see the following
depending on which region your are in: Water Dragons,
Geckos, Baramundy Fish, Small Crocodiles, Owls, Wallabies,
Kangaroos and many more unique Australian creatures!
